Midlife Motherhood through Adoption
Believing that a life of faith always involves risk, Ann took one of the biggest risks of her life when she became a mother in midlife by adopting two babies from China in the space of two years. Her daughters, Katie and Luci, reside happily (for the most part) with her in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Ann is a great supporter of adoption because it has enriched her life and connection with God in so many ways. Though she acknowledges the many great Christian adoption agencies that exist in this country, her favorite, because of their role in helping her adopt her two daughters, is Holt International Children’s Services www.holtintl.org
