Becoming A Woman At Peace

Becoming A Woman At Peace

As summer draws to a close and the busy fall season is approaching, I wanted to let you know about a new book I’ve written that can help you keep your focus on the Lord no matter what the future brings. The book has just been released and is entitled The One Year Devotions for Women: Becoming a Woman at Peace. It’s available in e-book form as well as in paperback. Every day I focus on a way to experience more of God’s shalom–the peace he has promised to those who belong to him. Whether you are dealing with too many demands on your time, struggling in a relationship, wrestling with difficult memories, or coping with an illness, financial pressure, or some other challenge, or whether you simply want more of God, I hope this book will add more peace to every single day.

Though I was at first reluctant to write a one-year devotional, fearing I would run out of things to say, I was surprised by how much joy I experienced throughout the process. God definitely added more peace to my life even though the year had its share of ups and downs. In fact, writing the book turned out to be the most enjoyable experience of my writing life thus far.  As a single mother of two teenage daughters I certainly have a need for the kind of peace God promises.
